About The Position

Raptive is seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Mobile Apps to join our Ad Code team. This role will play a vital role in building and scaling mobile app monetization opportunities for our network of publishers, helping creators extend their businesses across mobile app experiences while maximizing revenue, performance, and user experience. The Sr. Product Manager, Mobile Apps will be responsible for driving the product vision, roadmap, and execution for monetizing mobile apps across Raptive’s wide range of publishers. This person will work closely with engineering, revenue, publisher success, demand partnerships, analytics, and other product teams to define the infrastructure, integrations, and product capabilities needed to support scalable, high-performing app monetization. While the primary focus of this role will be mobile app monetization, this person will also have exposure to other areas of Raptive’s ad code platform, particularly where shared infrastructure, demand integrations, identity, measurement, and optimization systems are needed to support apps alongside web-based monetization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally within mobile apps, digital media, advertising technology, monetization, or related technology businesses
  • Proven track record of developing, launching, and scaling successful software products, preferably involving mobile app monetization or ad technology
  • Strong understanding of mobile app advertising, including SDK-based monetization, mediation, in-app bidding, programmatic demand, ad formats, measurement, and app-specific UX considerations
  • Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems, including iOS, Android, app stores, privacy frameworks, SDK implementation patterns, release cycles, and app performance considerations
  • Strong knowledge of ad technology concepts such as GAM, SSPs, DSPs, header bidding, Prebid, auction dynamics, identity, targeting, and yield optimization
  • Ability to define product requirements for technical infrastructure and partner effectively with engineering on architecture, tradeoffs, sequencing, and execution
  • Excellent data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills, with comfort using performance data to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and prioritize roadmap investments
  • Command of the product development lifecycle, from market analysis and problem identification to validation, solution development, go-to-market, launch, iteration, and optimization
  • Strong prioritization skills and experience applying them in the development of a product roadmap
  • Experience working in agile software development environments and collaborating closely with engineering teams to execute a product strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around a clear vision, roadmap, and success metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision for how Raptive monetizes mobile app experiences across a diverse publisher base, identifying the highest-impact opportunities to grow revenue while preserving user trust and experience.
  • Lead the development of app monetization capabilities, including ad formats, placements, SDK strategy, mediation, demand integrations, auction mechanics, experimentation, reporting, and optimization tools.
  • Bring ideas to the table to maximize app ad revenue, fill, CPMs, auction efficiency, and long-term publisher value through data-driven product improvements.
  • Partner with engineering and other product leaders to define the infrastructure needed to support app monetization, including systems that connect with or extend Raptive’s broader ad code platform.
  • Evaluate which demand partners, SDKs, mediation platforms, server-side technologies, and programmatic integrations are best suited for Raptive’s publishers, advertisers, and end users.
  • Balance monetization goals with high-quality app experiences, ensuring ad experiences are performant, thoughtfully placed, privacy-aware, and aligned with publisher needs.
  • Define the metrics, reporting, testing frameworks, and decisioning systems needed to evaluate app monetization performance and guide roadmap prioritization.
  • Work closely with engineering, business stakeholders, publisher-facing teams, and external partners to translate market needs and technical requirements into clear product priorities and successful launches.
