About The Position

Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform with the Fanatics App as the front door to fandom. The FanApp team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define, build and scale compelling new user value across its iOS, Android apps with the goal of driving user engagement and retention. The Senior Product manager will oversee the Fanatics’ lightning fast Scores product and build new features that let users live their fandom in the App, giving them reasons to come to the App daily.

Requirements

  • 6 plus years experience as a Product Manager in agile B2C digital native app-focused product organization
  • Deep passion for sports, games, and fandom products, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to simply articulate product outcomes and value propositions to leadership
  • Collaborative personality, with an ability to seamlessly work cross-functionally across different Product teams and teams at Fanatics
  • Can do attitude to influence others and lead cross functional teams to success

  • Experience leveraging sports data in a consumer experience

Responsibilities

  • Be a passionate subject matter expert on personalized, gamified consumer experiences and the sports/entertainment industry that drive everyday app visitation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Fanatics platform, assets, super fan customer base, and the unique position of Fanatics in the Sports industry
  • Leverage data, research, and competitive analysis to build the product strategy and roadmap that drives high weekly active users.
  • Partner with cross functional teams across Fanatics to write user stories, gather product requirements and execute the Product Roadmap to increase App engagement and retention
  • Partner cross functionally with with Engineering, Design, Operations and Marketing teams to build great features and get these features in the hands of users
  • Think through and articulate user flows, edge-cases and user journeys that produce unparalleled product quality and experiences for users
  • Contribute directly to product KPIs and related business objectives and metrics
  • Preferred working hours: Eastern Time Zone. Open to some travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings
