Sr Product Manager, BitGo Labs
About The Position
BitGo is seeking a Product Manager for BitGo Labs, an innovation hub focused on launching real, revenue-generating products leveraging crypto-native economics and AI. This role is for someone who wants to ship multiple products within a year, taking them from a thesis to a live, customer-facing application. BitGo Labs operates differently from typical innovation labs, aiming for rapid development (90 days from concept to launch) and a clear value proposition tied to BitGo's infrastructure advantage. Products are rigorously evaluated based on crypto-specific value and speed of development, with a clear process for doubling down or shutting down products based on pre-defined metrics.
Requirements
- Experience taking a product from inception to launch (startup, side project, or zero-to-one team).
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least some consumer product experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build, including prototyping with AI tools, creating working demos, and conducting independent analysis.
- Comfort with or a strong willingness to quickly learn about cryptocurrency and understand how owning infrastructure provides a competitive advantage.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Willingness and ability to shut down one's own work when necessary, learn from the experience, and move on to the next project without delay.

Responsibilities
- Take a thesis and develop it into a product, identifying the smallest viable version for the market.
- Push back on flawed theses, even when discussing with senior leadership.
- Ship products within a 90-day cycle, including writing specifications, managing the build process, making trade-offs, and cutting scope as needed.
- Integrate BitGo's custody, stablecoin, and settlement rails into consumer-facing applications.
- Make buy-instead-of-build decisions when faster.
- Set clear, measurable goals for product success before launch and adhere to them.
- Analyze product results honestly and decide whether to invest further or discontinue the product.
- Work directly with the CEO and Head of Labs.
- Leverage AI tools for prototyping and development.
- Make decisions in a small team with short cycles, without relying on a committee.
