Requirements

  • Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience operating pilot-scale manufacturing, mixing, coating, and laboratory equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment, process, and operational issues.
  • Knowledge of laboratory and manufacturing safety practices, chemical handling, and safe equipment operation.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across Product Development, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

  • Execute pilot-scale manufacturing batches, scale-up trials, and pilot coating runs to support product development, process validation, and commercialization activities.
  • Conduct analytical testing in support of product development projects and plan and execute project work in an organized and professional manner.
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams including PD, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot pilot lab equipment and processes, Comply with all company regulations, safety requirements, quality standards, environmental policies, and laboratory best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical reports, batch records, equipment logs, trial summaries, and other development documentation.
  • Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and service providers to troubleshoot issues, support maintenance activities, implement upgrades, and ensure reliable operation and capability of pilot lab systems.
