Sr. Product Development Engineer

As a Sr. Product Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will invent, formulate, and develop chemical and materials solutions to create and improve novel dental products, collaborate across R&D within Solventum, including internationally, to advance projects, generate intellectual property through the filing of new patent applications leading to commercialized products, complete work with little supervision and working well in a team, and drive inventions from concept, design, development, and scale-up for seamless commercialization.
Requirements
- Ph.D. Degree in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, polymer science or related discipline (STEM) from an accredited institution.
- Ability to work in-person daily at the Eagan, MN site.
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

- Demonstrated interest and ability to make connections between science/technology and products that solve customer problems
- Strong record of generating publications
- Experience working in a chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials laboratory
