About The Position

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Sr. Procurement Manager to lead a team of 6 buyers in driving growth and profitability for our Chillers Product Business Unit (PBU). You will be a key member of the PBU leadership team reporting to the Director of Procurement. You will provide innovative procurement solutions and fostering a high-performing team environment, in a business experiencing rapid expansion.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or equivalent; an MBA is a plus.
Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a multinational organization.
Minimum 6 years of experience in a Strategic Sourcing role, preferably with Direct Materials.
Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams within a matrix environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and complex situations.
Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems.
Experience negotiating complex supply contracts.
Ability to travel 10% globally and domestically.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities with a focus on business expansion and category growth.
Cultivate a growth-minded approach within your team, promoting supplier innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and effective communication skills.
Develop and coach a team of 6 buyers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Collaborate with the PBU leadership team to define and execute strategic procurement initiatives that optimize spend within the ~1B annual budget.
Provide comprehensive procurement support for new product introductions (NPI) within the PBU.
Secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality through strategic negotiations with critical suppliers.
Ensure team compliance with established procurement processes and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Champion continuing education for your team to enhance their effectiveness and build strong supplier relationships.
Identify and implement sustainable procurement practices within the global supply chain.
