Boston Scientific•Maple Grove, MN
•$85,000 - $161,500•Onsite

About The Position

Provides technical leadership and direction for materials science and process technology, driving consistency across franchises and project teams and applying organizational best practices. The role is recognized as a materials science expert, with deep knowledge of polymers and material–process–performance relationships. It provides vision for next-generation materials and process technologies that support product development and improve product cost margins. The position requires expertise in polymer material selection and characterization, as well as development of complex polymer assembly and bonding processes. It influences product design early in development through materials knowledge, material selection, design for manufacturability, and design concepts that enable robust, reliable integrated finished devices. Success requires influence across business units and functions. The role is onsite at a local office five days per week. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available. The position is safety-sensitive and requires a prohibited substance test. Compensation is listed as $85,000 to $161,500, with actual compensation varying based on location, experience, training, education, and other factors; variable compensation may also apply subject to eligibility and plan requirements.

Requirements
