Requirements

  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance
  • Associate degree in engineering, physical sciences, education or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years demonstrated competency in technical or instructional analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation or 2+ years competency in procedure development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, etc) or equivalent
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years demonstrated competency in technical and/or instructional documentation and design
  • Technical training experience in an NRC/DOE regulated industry
  • Procedure writing experience in an NRC/DOE regulated industry
  • An active “Q” clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver dynamic, performance-based training programs that support everything from technical operations to safety and compliance, using adult learning principles and interactive techniques to make content stick.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to analyze training needs, identify performance gaps, and build solutions that improve real-world outcomes.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain critical procedures—ensuring they meet stringent NRC standards while remaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly.
  • Support records and commitment management.
  • Contribute to procedure reviews across the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted collaborator who bridges the gap between technical expertise and effective communication.
