Northrop Grumman Mission System (NGMS) AMS Division is seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the role of Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist supporting Cabin Fever within the Advanced Radar Systems OU in Baltimore, MD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in supply chain management, project management, and/or business management
  • Cost Accounting Management (CAM) experience
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning
  • Experience in SAP (or any other ERP system)
  • U.S. Citizenship

Nice To Haves

  • Material management experience
  • Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting
  • Experience coaching teams and leading change initiatives with demonstrated results
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, reporting, and forecasting material cost/performance of assigned program(s)
  • Managing the material budget for contract requirements while supporting baseline/EVMS requirements
  • Acting as the CAM with program PLATO/EV/CEAC/EAC activities
  • Analyzing lead times and identifying critical path procurements
  • Managing on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule
  • Interfacing/collaborating with other functions of the program team including but not limited to contracts, finance, engineering, operations, quality, scheduling, etc.
  • Developing and understanding the execution strategy and structures
  • Representing Northrop Grumman and presenting in program management reviews (PMRs) and leadership briefings (internal/external)
  • Maintaining a strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment
