Requirements

Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years combined experience in Goods Movement, Subcontracts, Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, Logistics, Planning, or Project Management – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years combined experience in Goods Movement, Subcontracts, Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, Logistics, Planning, or Project Management
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems and experience working with and analyzing large data sets
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

Nice To Haves

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Experience with supplier management
Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to present information in an organized and effective manner
Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems and complex data analysis
Experience interpreting engineering drawings
Experience supporting proposal activities (roles and responsibilities)
Experience with SAP MES or similar manufacturing execution systems
Material management experience
People leadership experience and familiarity with DoD operations

Responsibilities

Define and develop material strategies to support program and production needs.
Assess supply chain resources; aggregate and prioritize demand requirements.
Develop, coordinate, and execute material forecasts and delivery schedules.
Participate in make/buy decisions, long‑term capacity and resource planning, product phase‑in/phase‑out, manufacturing ramp‑up, end‑of‑life and product-line management.
Lead affordability, cost‑savings, and/or process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Program Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and meet manufacturing and test schedules.
Analyze purchase material supply/demand positions using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
Analyze lead times and identify critical‑path procurements.
Work with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery at required quality levels for critical components.
Prioritize and communicate impacts of current and potential material shortages.
