Sr Principal Software Engineer/ (Maximo Functional Lead) - 90260895 - Philadelphia
About The Position
Leads the systems analysis, design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions with a focus on IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Enterprise Asset MAnagement software. Serves as a senior technical leader and escalation point for assigned systems, providing resolutions to problems and recommendations for continual improvement. Partners cross-functionally with project managers, Software Engineers, Business System Analysts, and IT service owners, to translate requirements, update development statuses, and improve solutions. Provide daily technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle including system integration, enhancements, testing, maintenance, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
- Plus 9 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with IBM Maximo or other Enterprise Asset Management functional and technical experience.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Principles.
- Experience with Maximo configuration, workflows, security, escalations and integrations.

Responsibilities
- Lead software design and development, organize clear requirements, documented methodology, and unit testing to meet business needs.
- Analyze business processes and develop end-to-end Maximo solution designs, including functional architecture and confirguration standards to meet industry standard asset management processes.
- Support linear asset management and rail inspectiond programs.
- Enable planning and execution of maintenance outages and asset possession activities.
- Implement defect tracking, condition assessment, and asset performance monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenanced teams to improve safety, reliability and service availability
- Support compliance with rail industry regulations and maintenance standards.
- Serve as Maximo Functional lead supporting infrastructure asset (track and right-of-way assets, rail signal and communication systems, stations and structures, electric tractionand infrastructure, and rolling asssets).
- Managing Maximo Functional Configuration; (Asset Management, Maximo Spatial-integration with ArcGIS, Work Management, Preventative Maintenance, Inventory Management, Procurement and Contracts, Service Requests, Labor and Crew Management and Inspections and Condition Monitoring.
