About The Position

The Sr. Principal, Technology Strategy serves as portfolio integration leader for one of EASE’s more complex infrastructure portfolios. The role shapes how EASE strategy is translated into portfolio direction, major investment choices, integrated roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role maintains an executive-level perspective while selectively diagnosing systemic delivery, operational, financial, or organizational barriers that require senior leadership action. The role partners closely with AVPs and program leaders, who own domain direction, resources, detailed execution, remediation, and delivery commitments. It provides end-to-end stewardship of the portfolio and broader integration across EASE, connects issues spanning portfolios and domains, advises senior and executive leaders on significant trade-offs, and balances near-term delivery with long-term outcomes and value. The position anticipates and helps resolve dependencies and risks with the greatest EASE impact, and shapes investment decisions, governance, and portfolio operating practices to improve overall performance.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of related experience.
  • Extensive experience translating infrastructure or technology strategy into complex portfolio priorities, major investments, and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership of a highly complex portfolio, product domain, platform, or transformation spanning multiple organizations and significant interdependencies.
  • Ability to maintain executive-level strategic oversight while selectively engaging in detail to diagnose systemic delivery, operational, dependency, and financial issues.
  • Advanced product and portfolio leadership capabilities, including strategic framing, outcome definition, prioritization, roadmap integration, value assessment, and course correction.
  • Strong financial and investment acumen across budgets, forecasts, capacity, scenarios, benefits, technology economics, and portfolio trade-offs.
  • Experience resolving cross-portfolio dependencies and risks and distinguishing issues requiring executive action from those best managed within programs.
  • Experience shaping governance, policy, operating models, measures, or portfolio-management practices with broad organizational impact.
  • Exceptional executive advisory, communication, facilitation, negotiation, analytical judgment, and influencing skills.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies and operating environments, including cloud, compute, storage, network, platforms, workplace technology, reliability, security, or related domains.

  • Anticipate and lead resolution of dependencies and risks with the greatest EASE-wide impact; mobilize accountable leaders, frame escalation paths, and resolve systemic issues without taking on program-level dependency management.
