The Control & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Principal Engineer to join the Engine System Software organization. This role serves as the CDS Agile Product Manager for 24K programs within the SAFe Agile Framework.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and minimum 10+ years prior relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in STEM and minimum 7+ years experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's/Master's in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Prior experience developing software in an Agile framework
Prior safety critical software development experience
Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO178B
Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures and control logic design
Experience in the Aerospace industry
Background in controls, real-time systems software and safety critical work
Active Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Serve as CDS Agile Product Manager for 24K programs within SAFe Agile Framework
Act as the internal voice of the Customer (Understand Variant needs, IPMT direction, customer expectations)
Work with Business Owner (CIPT) and System Architect to convert vision into meaningful Program Features
Work with Customers and Product Owners to understand and communicate feature acceptance criteria
Maintain and communicate prioritized 24K program level backlog
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Including Program Increment (PI planning, Product Owner (PO) Sync, Sprint Reviews)
Participate in software planning, estimating and tracking
Actively participate in feature design reviews
Serve as Cost Account Manager (CAM) and track Earned Value (EV)
