About The Position
Onsemi is seeking a design engineer to be part of the transfer program management team. The candidate will be part of the team to drive project success with the end goal of delivering products on time, at the right cost, and with high quality. This is a “hands on” position. The successful candidate is expected to be able to work independently as well as within teams. They should possess analytical skills to identify problems, leadership skills to own and drive improvement, and technical skills to balance the benefits and risks of various solution paths.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor design.
- Bachelors degree
- Process design rules knowledge for mask tape-out
- Device modeling expertise for process/device matching
- Chip design architecture for probe parameter matching, yield Improvement or failure analysis
- CAD layout support
Responsibilities
- Provide designer's perspective to trouble shoot issues encountered during transfer, such as evaluating criticality of device behavior from receiving site if it cannot match sending site (due to equipment or recipe differences), identifying circuit and test behavior most likely to be impacted, and supporting simulation or corner splits to help in a risk assessment.
- Enable "onsemi-as foundry" design environment with various acquisition projects.
- Support internal or external tape in/tape outs for transfer projects. Modify gds if needed for various reasons.
