About The Position

Medtronic’s Interventional Cardiac Therapies Renal Denervation business is hiring an electrical engineering leader to support development of a next-generation RF ablation generator and capital equipment platform. The role leads electrical systems development, characterization, and integration testing, providing technical leadership across the product lifecycle from early concepts and architecture through circuit card design, verification, validation, and lifecycle support. The engineer serves as the electrical engineering lead and workstream owner, with substantial autonomy and influence, while partnering with systems, software, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to deliver innovative, compliant medical technologies. The position also leads execution of electrical engineering workstreams, including planning, delegation, technical reviews, schedule and dependency management, and scrum facilitation. It owns identification and communication of electrical and system risks, contributes to risk analyses and mitigation, and champions design controls, quality-system practices, and regulatory, safety, and reliability compliance. The role provides technical mentorship and helps improve engineering standards and capabilities. The position is based in Mounds View, Minnesota, and requires working onsite at least four days per week. The application window is anticipated to close on December 7, 2026.
