The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst - Windows to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Linthicum, Maryland location.

Requirements

Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
Experience with designing and maintaining Windows domain architectures, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions in a classified environment.
Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Sr. Principal Computer Systems Analyst - current Security+certification.
Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years OR must be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Windows Server Administration to include Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and other services.
Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments.
Experience with networking, including subnets, routing, VLANs and VTCs; Cisco experience and/or certification.
Experience with the creation, maintenance, and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment.
Experience working in virtualized environments.
Experience with deploying and maintaining Backup solutions (Cohesity, Vertias, etc.) and SAN storage systems.
Experience with environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk).
Experience in scripting and automation.
Operating System Cross-platform awareness (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.).
Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes.

Responsibilities

Perform as a Senior Computer Systems Analyst - Windows in support of classified government contracts
Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and verbal format.
Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies.
Report task statuses as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts in written and verbal format.
Oversee and lead the reliable operations of multi-user computer systems working with system engineers, PC desktop technicians, networking engineers, project managers, end users, and IT/Cyber management.
Analyze and make recommendations for internal and external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.
Recommend and implement system enhancements, to include automation, that will improve the performance of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
Ensure compliant and reliable backup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space, and manage virus protection on a routine basis.
Test and oversee new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
Lead the development and documentation of technical processes and procedures.
Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors and evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases and report security relevant statuses accordingly.
Ensure accurate security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems.
Mentorship of professionals to grow and develop technical talent.
Lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work after hours, and weekends, as needed.
