The Sr. Practice Manager (H) directs and maintains all aspects of the daily activities of the practice for its successful operation, which includes the efficient and timely scheduling of patients for clinics and surgeries. Moreover, the Senior Practice Manager (H) develops, trains, coordinates, and recruits personnel for the practice to ensure that all offices are properly staffed and operational. Additionally, the incumbent supervises scheduling support staff for physicians to ensure patient access and satisfaction, and effective and efficient coordination of out-patient appointments. The Sr. Practice Manager will perform a variety of clinical, research, administrative and clerical duties to assist with the business functions of the Department of OBGYN The duties and responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to the following: Daily management and operations of the clinical practice and administrative back end operation, leading the team of surgical schedulers, clinical business operations representatives, and any incoming administrative roles Work closely with the Division Chief and SAO to establish desired monthly reporting, performance improvement projects, and overall patient experience improvements across all sites Assist the Nurse Supervisor with monitoring the practice site, maintaining inventory of supplies. Ensure practice site is Joint Commission and ACHA compliant. Optimize physician Epic templates, procedure schedules, in-patient and imaging coverage schedules. Assist in monitoring Epic in-basket messages, and email correspondence to comply with UHealth policy. Assist leadership initiatives and project implementations. Establish and implement procedures and processes to improve the business operations of the clinical practice.
