We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. We need talented, passionate professionals who are dedicated to doing what’s right for our clients. At CIBC, we embrace your strengths and your ambitions, so you are empowered at work. Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute. You will be joining the Strategic initiatives Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence office (CDAIO) within CIBC. We’re on a mission to build the relationship-focused bank of the future and we’re looking for the passionate collaborators, innovators, advisors, and leaders who can get us there. Our distinct culture is built on a shared commitment to do what’s right for our clients, our people, and our communities, and we strive for excellence in everything we do. Because life at CIBC is not only what you do, but how you do it. As the Sr. PMO Intake & Governance Lead, you will join CIBC’s Technology department to develop and implement overall project portfolio governance and centralized intake management practices for consolidated reporting and tracking of technology-managed initiatives for our Chief Data and AI Office (CDAIO) internal and business partners. The role analyzes situations and data to review the content of each intake request for quality and technical details, addressing any discrepancies with stakeholders to identify barriers to completion. The role applies innovation and substantial communication skills to bring structure, transparency, and governance to the demand management process for CDAIO technology intakes. Your strategic objectives is to standardize, optimize and provide continuous improvement ideas and enhancements for PMO tools, processes, reporting and metrics while showing transparency and consistency for reporting the project and intake status and key attributes at different levels. You will be responsible for identifying and eliminating inconsistencies, overhead and duplications as well as early detection and remediation for any exposure to non-compliance to standards (deficiencies and gaps). From time to time you will need to manage time sensitive ad hoc requests either as an individual or as part of a group setting. Also, you may be required to host and chair meetings and present reports or materials that are relevant to CDAIO PMO Governance. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
