Sr. Platting Coordinator - Land Development

Sr. Platting Coordinator is responsible for managing multiple projects within the local area and coordinating projects throughout the entire plat submittal and approval process. Requirements

High School Diploma required.
8-10 years of experience dealing directly in the Subdivision Platting industry; either with surveying or engineering firms.
Experience working with the local, Houston area and Harris County agencies.
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project software programs.
Strong communication skills.
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to build strong relationships.

Nice To Haves

Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate multiple projects, within the Houston, Harris County area, throughout the entire plat submittal and approval process.
Work directly with other consultants, engineering teams, and clients to manage the platting process, schedules and budgets as they relate to the platting of these projects.
Provide basic land planning and platting expertise when necessary.
Represent the projects with the governmental agencies and present plats approval applications to the various planning staff, Planning Commissions, and City Councils for approval when required.
Supervise team members and work collaboratively within a team.
