The Sr. Plant Operations Manager- Warehouse assists in leading all aspects of a manufacturing plant, including safety, quality, production, and cost across various departments. This position is a developmental opportunity designed to prepare an individual for a Plant Director role. Requirements
- 6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 6 Years – Experience in Position
- 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects
- Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multi task
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, or customers
- High sense of urgency
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environment
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Interviewing, hiring, and training
- Planning, assigning and directing work
- Appraising performance
- Rewarding and disciplining employees
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field

Responsibilities
- Responsible to lead a safe plant culture
- Responsible for product quality control for the plant
- Responsible for plant production goals
- Responsible to manage specific cost controls for plant
- Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines
- Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, quality and shipping
- Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff
- Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills
- Conduct employee performance reviews
- Schedule and conduct plant meetings
- Ensure maintenance of clean and safe plant
- Communicate with all levels of personnel through strong interpersonal skills
- Attend corporate trainings and meetings
- Communicate daily operations to plant director
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization (executives, managers, employees and customers)
