Sr Planning Analyst - Energy Management Forecasting Services
About The Position
Con Edison is seeking a motivated and analytical professional to join our Forecasting Services team supporting electric, gas, and steam operations. In this role, you will analyze large datasets, develop forecasting models, evaluate energy efficiency and demand response programs, and help deliver insights that support operational planning, regulatory activities, and emerging energy initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced analytics, statistical modeling, forecasting technologies, and tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and database platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams across operations, planning, IT, and regulatory organizations. Ideal candidates have a strong quantitative background, excellent communication skills, and an interest in energy markets, data analytics, forecasting, and innovative technologies shaping the future of the utility industry. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
