Sr Phlebotomy Technician II
About The Position
Munson Healthcare is northern Michigan’s largest healthcare system, comprising eight award-winning community hospitals serving over half a million residents across 29 counties. This role involves collecting blood from inpatients, outpatients, and nursing homes according to established procedures and policies. This includes performing capillary punctures and venipuncture on infants and adults, as well as radial arterial punctures on adults. Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella, and to receive an annual flu vaccine during flu season or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good work history in customer-service-skills-focused positions, with an emphasis on excellent attendance, strong work ethic, teamwork abilities
