About The Position

As a Veterinary Sales Representative on the US Pet Health team, you’ll engage with veterinary customers to achieve sales goals with Elanco products within an assigned geography. In this role, you will play an important part in our success as we embark on a historic launch period for the Pet Health Organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma / GED with equivalent level of experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent selling experience in a competitive environment (or previous Elanco intern)
  • Team-first approach with a hustle mentality and eagerness to win
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

  • In-depth knowledge of companion animal veterinary products and the competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies with targeted accounts and corporate hospitals within the assigned geography to achieve product placement goals.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan identifying key wins and maintaining an assigned expense budget.
  • Act as the primary liaison with local veterinary associations and provide leadership for distributor representatives.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers and stakeholders to drive product adoption.
  • Coordinate and execute product launch meetings in collaboration with veterinary services.
