About The Position

The Senior Performance Verification Evaluator administers and maintains the Performance Verification Program, helping ensure consistent execution of performance verification activities across regional distribution operations. This role applies technical knowledge of lineman work proficiency and required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) to standardize and implement performance verification processes, conduct evaluations, identify compliance and performance risks, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts. Working with field personnel, supervisors, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Performance Verification Evaluator supports workforce development, monitors program effectiveness through data and reporting, and maintains accurate documentation and records to support compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and operating standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  • Five years of progressive training and/or practical experience as a Lineman Journeyman required.
  • Possess the technical knowledge and capability to ascertain an individual's KSAs to perform covered tasks and recognize and react to Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOCs) associated with the covered task.
  • Able to provide and apply knowledge of all regulations and rules and the company's operating standards, policies, procedures and processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to handle multiple projects, prioritize and schedule tasks, pay attention to detail and demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and maintains the Performance Verification Program, assisting with execution activities and contributing to ongoing improvements through data collection and reporting.
  • Standardizes and implements performance verification processes, applying working technical knowledge to help ensure consistency and alignment with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in performance verification activities, using available data and reporting tools to help monitor program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identifies compliance and performance risks, escalating issues as appropriate and assisting in the development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support the execution of performance verification activities, helping track progress and follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Works with field personnel and supervisors to support workforce development efforts, including assisting with qualification tracking, evaluations, and training alignment for personnel involved in performance verification activities.
  • Assists with compliance assurance activities, including supporting field and office reviews of contractor personnel to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • Applies established evaluation standards to conduct or support performance assessments and oral evaluations, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with qualification requirements.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement efforts through data tracking, trend analysis, and process enhancements under direction from program leadership.
  • Prepares and shares routine reports on program activities, metrics, and findings with supervisors and key stakeholders.
  • Maintains program documentation and records, ensuring information is complete, organized, and available to support audit and compliance needs.
  • Ensures consistent application of documentation and recordkeeping practices by following established procedures and supporting periodic review.
