We are seeking a People Experience Partner to be the trusted, on-site HR presence at our Montreal, Canada location, delivering impactful HR and orchestrating the employee lifecycle moments that matter most. You will assist people managers and employees in leading all aspects of HR processes, resolving issues, and supporting programs and policies that align with our business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, with a focus on employee relations and People Manager support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
  • Strong proficiency in French for internal communications and collaboration within the Montréal team.
  • English proficiency is also required to effectively work with international teams, stakeholders, and systems located outside Québec.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and manager relations matters.
  • Mediate and resolve complex workplace issues, collaborating with Legal when needed.
  • Cultivate strong and influential working relationships with local leaders and people managers.
  • Lead and participate in communication initiatives.
  • Support team success through key HR programs and initiatives.
  • Lead critical employee lifecycle moments that matter to enhance engagement.
  • Analyze employee feedback to identify and address trends impacting the workforce.
  • Champion site culture by planning and executing local events, initiatives, and activities.
  • Support employee immigration processes and compliance with immigration laws.
  • Support teams through the performance management process.
  • Coach and counsel managers with effective advice on addressing performance and development.
  • Enable management effectiveness and drive high team performance through tools and guidance.
  • Lead investigations and resolutions of ethics complaints with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Provide clear, timely guidance on ethical issues and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Lead and support local safety initiatives, partnering with site leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, communicating, and training on HR policies as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively across the function to deliver integrated HR impact to the business.
  • Serve as the on-site HR point of contact, bridging broader HR programs with local execution.
  • Identify and implement improvements to local HR processes.
  • Participate as a project team member on global HR initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with Quebec labor laws and regulations, including CNESST requirements, employment standards, workplace policies, and employee rights.
  • Provide expert guidance on Quebec–specific legislation, including hiring, terminations, leaves, disciplinary actions and workplace practices.
  • Oversee and manager Francization requirements in accordance with the Charter of the French Language (Bill 96), ensuring compliance in documentation, communication and workplace practices.
  • Establish support and participate in health & Safety committees in alignment with Quebec ‘s LSST requirements.
