About The Position

The Sr. People Business Partner (PBP) — Field Operations serves as a trusted advisor to leaders in their region for Clinical, Laboratory, and Operations Support teams, partnering closely with the Manager, People Business Partner to execute people strategies that supports employee lifecycle, operational effectiveness, and business performance. This role acts as a hands-on partner to frontline and operational leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management and workforce planning. The PBP plays a critical role in translating people strategies into practical execution while ensuring consistent, compliant, and people-centered practices across supported teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields
  • 4+ years of HR experience, including experience supporting employee relations or operational teams.
  • Experience in a Business Partner, or equivalent advisory role preferred
  • Experience supporting field-based, clinical, healthcare, manufacturing, or operations environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence managers and employees.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with confidentiality, professionalism and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leaders to understand team priorities and support implementation of aligned people strategies.
  • Proactively collaborate with leaders to identify development opportunities and support career growth conversations.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, team effectiveness and workforce planning.
  • Support leaders in applying consistent people practices that align with company values and operational goals.
  • Proactively Identify trends and workforce insights and escalate opportunities or risks and proactively execute solutions when appropriate.
  • Support initiatives that enhance employee belonging and retention across Clinical, Lab, and Operations Support teams.
  • Partner with leaders to proactively address team dynamics and employee concerns.
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers navigating workplace matters.
  • Support change management efforts by helping leaders implement communication and transition plans.
  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance concerns.
  • Maintains professionalism and composure during challenging conversations, ambiguity, or high-pressure situations.
  • Provide coaching to leaders on feedback delivery, documentation, and performance conversations.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and confidential handling of sensitive workplace matters.
  • Proactively and timely escalate complex or high-risk situations appropriately.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws through consistent application of HR practices.
  • Support compliant processes related to performance management, leaves, employee transitions, and workforce changes.
  • Produces thoughtful, high-quality work aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and and provide / propose the solutions so we can collectively action.
