The Senior People Analytics Analyst is a senior individual contributor on the Workday HRIS team, providing analytical expertise and reporting solutions. The role partners with P&C functional leaders—including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and P&C Operations—as well as Finance, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to understand the People Analytics roadmap and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. It uses Workday reporting capabilities such as Advanced, Matrix, Trending, and Composite Reports, dashboards, Discovery boards, Reporting Agents, Hubs, and configurations aligned with business needs. The analyst turns workforce, organizational, talent, and business data into actionable insights. This includes integrating multiple data sources; analyzing data using methods ranging from basic aggregation to complex statistical analysis; developing visualizations and presentations; and communicating trends and findings to audiences including executives, business leaders, hiring managers, and People/HR teams. The role leads assigned reporting initiatives, supports the definition of business and predictive KPIs, and translates workforce trends into clear narratives and recommendations for leadership. The role also supports adoption of Workday reporting capabilities by developing best-practice resources and guides, documenting standard workflows, advising on functionality and practices, and supporting change management, communications, and training. It mentors HRIS team members and provides guidance on complex reporting issues to promote accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards. Reporting activities must comply with data privacy, access, security, system change control, reporting governance, company objectives, P&C strategies, and compliance requirements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or at least four years of professional experience in lieu of a degree. Candidates need five or more years of experience, including at least three years in People/HR data analytics and reporting, as well as in-depth Workday HCM reporting and dashboard experience. The role is offered at a salary range of $111,000–$188,500. AeroVironment provides medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company matching, a 9/80 work schedule, and a paid holiday shutdown. The position may require minimal travel and access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information; applicants must meet applicable U.S. person or export-license eligibility requirements, and some positions may require U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.
