About The Position

The Senior Patient Account Specialist provides excellent support to department employees by answering questions, providing necessary coaching, and performing quality assurance audits. Handles incoming/outgoing customer calls and reroutes calls to appropriate departments. Provides product/services healthcare information, resolves issues, and ensures customer satisfaction. Monitors portals and workstations to ensure timelines are met.

Requirements

  • 2+ years call center/healthcare customer service experience.
  • High School or equivalent.
  • Experience with acute care medical billing, explanation of benefits, and collections.
  • Computer proficiency: Microsoft Works, Excel, and database entry.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain patient under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
