About The Position

The Senior Partnership Development Manager will implement SECU’s external development programs in partnership with industry organizations. This role will manage relationships, programs, and communications across all professional development offerings from these industry partners through streamlined processes, proactive administration, and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Training and Development, Project Management, Communications or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience developing and managing engagement programs with operational elements including promotion, registration, participant preparation, and evaluation.
  • Balances strategy and execution related to all operational aspects of new programs, from whole picture perspective through detailed implementation and support needs.
  • Manages large volumes of information with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Manages multiple concurrent efforts, prioritizes work against moving targets and anticipates and prepares for evolving needs.
  • Communicates exceptionally, with an ability to understand and to share information in compelling spoken, written, and visual formats.
  • Takes initiative to execute and produce business results quickly and consistently.
  • Successfully establishes partner relationships in a hybrid environment to efficiently liaison between multiple support teams and external partner organizations.
  • Thinks critically and solves problems at the root cause level.
  • Must live in or within manageable commuting distance to Raleigh, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage all aspects of professional development offerings from our industry partners including promotion, request and response processes, participant tracking, registration, and evaluation of impact.
  • Advise on effectiveness of each partnership in providing quality professional development opportunities, using both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback to refine the decision criteria and continuously improve the overall impact of SECU’s investments.
  • Utilize program survey data to provide impact reports.
  • Design and manage all enterprise level aspects of SECU’s Protégé Program including promotion, application, coordination with Chapters and the Carolinas Credit Union League, tracking, evaluation of impact, and maintenance of program documentation.

  • Partner with MCO and Learning to identify and leverage available benefits of memberships and sponsorships, leadership opportunities, and learning prospects of external partners.
  • Manage strategic relationships with external partners, industry and non-industry partners, nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders while identifying learning, involvement, or development opportunities that can result from those partnerships.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of initiatives, using both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback to refine the decision criteria and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes and continuously improve the overall impact of SECU’s investments.
  • Design and drive methods for continuous promotion of external development opportunities like annual conferences and leadership programs and of learning support platforms like LinkedIn Learning and CUES Harvard Mentor.
  • Support other Leadership Development initiatives as needed to include preparation for classes like printing materials and room set up.
