About The Position

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Oracle EBS technical solutions that meet business requirements, including system enhancements, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. The position collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions. The role involves designing and developing technical solutions based on functional designs, providing technical specifications, unit test plans, and installation plans. It also includes performing problem analysis, coding, unit testing, and debugging, as well as coordinating with team members for solutions and design/code reviews. The developer will create advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies, develop file and database structures, and interfaces between internal and external systems. Additionally, the role provides third-tier user support, designs forms, reports, data collection, processing, and control procedures, and creates/maintains documentation using AIM methodology. Maintaining technical and functional awareness, serving as an external contact, and liaising with vendors are also key responsibilities. The role requires working effectively within an AI-enabled environment, including using AI tools, evaluating AI outputs, integrating AI into workflows, and understanding responsible AI use.

Requirements

Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R11i and R12 primarily in the following Oracle Financials (GL, iExpense, AP, FA, Cash Management, Purchasing, iProcurement, Payments) and HCM modules
Experience in development of all aspects of RICE objects
Experience in design and development of Workflows and AME rules
Experience in design and development of complex Oracle Forms and Reports
Experience developing reports in BI Publisher and Discoverer
Experience with Unix/Linux Shell scripts
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, software library control and editing products
Knowledge of encryption and security protocols
Knowledge and understanding of SOA concepts
IDEs such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL-SQL Developer and JDeveloper
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, OAF skills including performance tuning
Ability to interpret and write technical publications/diagrams, and project specifications
Good organizational and follow-up skills and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation pertaining to the operations of computer and software applications and equipment
Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment
Promote a cooperative and productive team environment
Interpersonal skills to establish and nourish relationships with internal/external clients
7-10 years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, testing, documenting and production support of Oracle e-Business applications
High School Diploma
Associate Degree
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience Required

Responsibilities
