About The Position
The Senior Billing Quality Analyst serves as a critical control point across the Opportunity-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle, ensuring billing accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role combines pre-invoice validation, post-billing audit, and analytical review to detect discrepancies, prevent revenue leakage, and drive continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (AA) in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience auditing contracts, pricing, and billing terms
- Experience in MSP, SaaS, or services-based environments
- Exposure to subscription or usage-based billing models
- Experience is supporting audits
- Attention to detail
- Working knowledge of ERP, PSA, or billing systems
- Advanced analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-invoice validation of orders, contracts, pricing, and billing schedules
- Conduct post-invoice audits of billing transactions and accounts receivable
- Investigate billing discrepancies and identify root causes
- Validate product configurations, SKUs, and entitlements
- Identify billing risks and data inconsistencies
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve issues
- Develop and enforce billing quality standards
- Track and report KPIs including billing accuracy and error rates
- Build dashboards and analytical reports
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Support system implementations and testing
- Identify automation and AI opportunities in billing
- Ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements
- Provide training and mentorship to team members
