About The Position

The Sr Coordinator, Slotting will maximize warehouse efficiency and minimize errors by assigning products to pick and reserve slots. Using independent judgement, the Sr Coordinator, Slotting will provide the best selection sequence to enable the most productive selection process. This role utilizes Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) to optimally provide a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors. The position involves performing accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet, monitoring, researching, and responding to Slot Check inquiries, and communicating with internal stakeholders to promote efficiency in slotting. Additionally, the role partners with Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product, manages daily replenishment priorities, and performs regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways). The Sr Coordinator, Slotting communicates daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns and supports in training and developing junior clerical teammates.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in warehouse administrative or clerical position.
  • Prior slotting experience required.
  • Excellent communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to independently solve problems of intermediate scope.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
  • High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

Responsibilities
