About The Position

As a Senior Operations Business Analyst in HDES, you will have a material impact on field and support operations with large scale, visible outcomes. Your goal is to understand and quantify drivers that map to the activities our associates perform to support our stores and supply chain facilities. How do we engineer a process to support the unique and many different maintenance needs of our stores? What processes does this team execute regularly that require streamlining and optimizing? These are the types of questions you’ll be helping to answer through a combination of in-person studies and data analysis. This role will also see you partnering closely with a variety of cross-functional teams and help you gain the exposure needed to build a successful career at the Home Depot.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Experience leading high performing teams
• Consulting management and/or project management.
• Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
• Problem solving
• Strong Operations, Retail and/or field knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering degree
• Experience with LEAN 6 Sigma or other process improvement methodology
• Project management experience
• Experience conducting time studies and developing repeatable processes based in engineering standards
• Proficient in MS suite of software to include PowerPoint, Excel, Vizio and SmartSheet

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates
• Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization
• Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize.
• Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors
• Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
• Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.
