Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Network Unified Collaboration (UC) Engineer to join our team in Wiesbaden, Germany. In this role, as the Network UC Engineer, you will be joining and working with the U.S. Army Europe Regional Cyber Center (RCC-E). You will be responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, optimizing, and securing the Cisco Unified Communications (UC) infrastructure footprint for the RCC-E. This includes performing daily health checks, proactive monitoring, and Tier-3 troubleshooting for the Cisco Collaboration Suite (CUCM, Unity, UCCX, CER, Expressways, CUBEs) to ensure 99.9% availability for mission-critical voice services. You will also configure and maintain SIP trunks, H.323 gateways, SRST, CUBE, and MS Teams/Google Cloud Platform configurations for integration with various cloud and tactical voice networks. Additionally, you will manage and maintain Cisco IOS Voice Gateways, serve as the functional lead for UC-related identity tasks within Cisco ISE, provide operational support for multi-platform video environments, and ensure DISA STIG compliance across all UC and Video assets. The role involves integrating collaboration services with Active Directory, PKI/certificate authorities, Cloud platforms, and DNS, providing Tier 3 escalation support, and mentoring team members. You will also act as a technical liaison between the UC team and Network Automation Operations, provide technical input for Change Management boards, and assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs). Lifecycle support includes managing "Day-2" operations such as user provisioning, certificate renewals, and capacity monitoring. You will maintain up-to-date architecture diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs, and participate in formal change-control processes.
