Sr. Network Solution Architect

Panasonic•UNAVAILABLE, UNAVAILABLE

About The Position

Panasonic is seeking a Senior Network Solution Architect to lead the architectural vision, engineering, and deployment of complex network systems. The role requires more than 15 years of IT experience, including at least five years designing and implementing resilient, secure network environments for manufacturing and industrial facilities, including smart factories. The architect bridges Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), establishing zero-trust network boundaries, multi-cloud connectivity, and scalable automation across enterprise centers, remote sites, and shop-floor operations. The position covers IT/OT convergence, Cisco ACI data center and edge architecture, Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM, enterprise WAN/LAN, AWS and Azure connectivity, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, network security, micro-segmentation, Zscaler and ZTNA, and network automation using Python and Ansible. It also leads infrastructure lifecycle planning, technical evaluations, budgeting inputs, and deployment strategies. The architect serves as a technical authority for executives and operational stakeholders, manages vendor and service-provider engagements, develops architecture blueprints and standard operating procedures, and mentors engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 15 or more years of broad IT and networking architecture experience.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience designing, implementing, and supporting network environments in manufacturing or industrial plant settings.
  • Hands-on mastery of Cisco ACI and Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
  • Deep expertise in Cisco and Aruba LAN/WAN architectures, BGP routing, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Extensive experience with Azure, including ExpressRoute, VNets, and VPN Gateways, as well as AWS and Zscaler integration.
  • Demonstrated ability in IT/OT network segmentation, firewalling, and ZTNA implementation.
  • Practical experience with Python and Ansible for network provisioning and management.
  • Network architecture and strategy capabilities.
  • IT infrastructure planning and delivery capabilities.
  • Team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Vendor management and consulting capabilities.
  • Performance optimization and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end IT/OT network solutions across plant floors and corporate networks in accordance with industrial standards.
  • Implement and optimize Cisco ACI for modern data centers and edge compute locations in manufacturing facilities.
  • Architect and manage enterprise IP address schemes and core DNS/DHCP/IPAM services using Infoblox.
  • Lead capacity planning, performance optimization, and high-availability troubleshooting for plant-floor devices, distributed edge environments, and corporate backbones.
  • Design enterprise WAN/LAN structures using Cisco and Aruba network hardware and management suites.
  • Architect multi-cloud network backbones across AWS and Microsoft Azure, using Azure ExpressRoute, cloud VPNs, VNet Peering, and Transit Gateways.
  • Manage complex BGP routing policies, OSPF, and SD-WAN implementations across global and regional plant sites.
  • Enforce IT/OT segmentation using next-generation firewalls and micro-segmentation to protect SCADA/ICS environments.
  • Integrate Zscaler cloud security platforms and ZTNA solutions for secure employee and external-vendor remote access.
  • Use Python and Ansible to automate configuration management, compliance auditing, and service deployment.
  • Lead lifecycle planning, technical evaluations, budgeting inputs, and deployment strategies for enterprise and plant infrastructure upgrades.
  • Advise C-level executives, IT Directors, Plant Managers, and OT Engineers as a technical authority.
  • Direct technical engagements with vendors, system integrators, telecom providers, and consultants to support cost efficiency and SLA delivery.
  • Author architecture blueprints, network topologies, and standard operating procedures, and mentor engineering teams.
