Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related experience OR Associate's degree with 12 years of related experience OR High school diploma/GED and 14 years of related experience
  • Experience with management projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (within 18 months of starting position)
  • Project budgeting, cost tracking, and cost estimating experience
  • Supervisory or managerial experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) or SRO Certification
  • Engineering or Technical Degree

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of large projects, ensuring accountability to safety, schedule, quality, cost, and dose minimization.
  • Own the 10-year plan and assigned portions of the Corporate Strategic Plan, and be responsible for its execution throughout all facets of the Project Lifecycle.
  • Gain Executive Approval for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Capital Investments, including Project Review Committee (PRC), Nuclear Safety Advisory Committee (NSAC), and Governance Oversight Committee (GOC) approvals.
  • Certify accurate estimates during all phases of the project lifecycle, including robust change control management throughout project design and execution.
  • Retain and develop project managers supporting line management, evaluate assigned staff, and recommend training and/or Human Resources actions.
  • Solicit feedback on the performance of personnel.
  • Meet with regulatory groups to gain approval and respond to inquiries from agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
  • Support peer team improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other job assignments and/or duties as required, including Emergency Response duties and/or coverage.
