About The Position

The Senior Manager, Brand Strategy leads the development and stewardship of Norwegian Cruise Line’s brand strategy, positioning, and messaging to strengthen brand equity, drive consumer demand, and support business growth. Partnering across Marketing, Creative, Consumer Insights, and Commercial teams, this role ensures a differentiated and consistent brand experience across all consumer touchpoints. Using consumer insights, market intelligence, and competitive analysis, the Senior Manager develops strategic frameworks that guide brand communications, campaigns, and long-term initiatives while advancing NCL’s brand vision and embodying NCLH’s values of Innovation, Collaboration, Transparency, and Passion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, evolution, and governance of Norwegian Cruise Line’s brand strategy, positioning, and messaging architecture to drive differentiation and long-term brand equity.
  • Define audience, positioning, and messaging strategies that strengthen brand relevance, deepen consumer engagement, and accelerate business growth.
  • Synthesize consumer insights, brand health metrics, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Develop strategic briefs, messaging frameworks, and brand narratives that inform integrated campaigns, product initiatives, and key business priorities.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Creative, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Commercial teams, ensuring alignment between brand strategy and execution.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for brand campaigns and initiatives, ensuring consistency with brand positioning and enterprise objectives.
  • Steward the development, implementation, and continuous optimization of brand guidelines, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Evaluate and influence creative concepts, marketing communications, and customer experiences to ensure strategic alignment and brand integrity.
  • Lead and manage relationships with external brand, strategy, and research partners to maximize effectiveness and value.
  • Monitor brand performance and marketplace trends, identifying opportunities to strengthen brand health, relevance, and impact.
  • Foster cross-functional alignment among key stakeholders to advance brand priorities and support organizational goals.
  • Execute additional responsibilities and strategic initiatives as needed to support evolving business objectives.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
