Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics or completion of a machining apprentice program
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing technician roles.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing engineering tools such as CAD software, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of automation in manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing engineering activities including process development, validation, and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up.
  • Write programs for new parts and modify programs for existing parts to improve machining.
  • Selection of tooling for machining and fixtures/gauging for inspection.
