Job Summary Analyzes and defines direct material requirements, coordinating with the purchasing team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials to support production. | Collaborates with engineering to identify material needs for customer return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and manages the execution of RMA shop orders. | Develops direct material forecasts to support site revenue planning and program profitability analysis. | May serve as a backup to other team members in production planning. Monitors inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture products. Works to resolve and takes corrective action for materials issues impacting production schedules while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics. Analyze, plan, schedule, and initiate procurement actions. Ensures materials are cost effective. Assists in determining and ensuring the quality of materials. Execute material that required outside processing.
