Requirements

Work experience in the core Logistics functions of Receiving, Warehousing, and Material Delivery.
Ability to read, write and comprehend written or verbal instructions.
Ability to collect data, prepare, and maintain records using written or electronic media as required or directed by supervisor.
Ability to obtain to drive Company-owned or rented Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), Straight truck, or Motor vehicle.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Florida driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Perform systems movements, transactions and updates utilizing enterprise system tools including SAP, Prism, Fiori, and any other systems that become available to the business.

Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, and moving materials, property and misc. items on and off incoming trucks or vehicles: within the plant, in associated warehouses and other offsite locations using Powered Industrial Vehicles (fork-truck, electric picker, etc.), electric or manual pallet jack, carts, and other similar material handling equipment.
Serving as spotters for material handlers and material packers.
Loading and unloading material onto or off of pallets, trays, racks, carts, shelves or other similar staging and movement equipment.
Becoming proficient in material management processes, procedures, and industry best practices applicable to the protection and preservation of material and customer owned product from deterioration and/or physical damage.
Opening containers, cartons, wood crates, bundles, or other similar items using hand tools such as steel cutters, crowbars, claw hammer, drills, knives or other similar hand tools.
Identifying and validating material and property identification and quantities against documentation and/or systems information and may be required to replace the packing material to reclose the container, carton, crate the material in which the material was received.
Lifting up to 28 pounds.
Working from elevated platforms and climbing stairs.
Reaching above shoulders, below knees, bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.
Sorting and prioritizing mail and materials for processing based on established priorities within each Logistics functional area.
Identifying and reporting any obvious damage to materials and property in any Logistics functional area.
Performing duties as directed by the supervisor.
