Sr. Material Handler (Warehouse Lead)
About The Position
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Sr. Material Handler (Warehouse Lead) to join our Logistics Team in Columbus, MS. The Quality Inspector A is responsible to perform warehouse functions within assigned area(s), requiring the receiving and checking of materials from vendors, sub-contractors or other sources, stocking materials in keeping with established procedures and locations, pulling and issuing materials and parts for shop requirements, or pulling and shipping customer orders. Performing inventory cycle counts and researching inventory problems in the SAP system. Asist in running warehouse operations in absence of warehouse supervisor.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- Minimum of four (4) years related warehouse experience
- Knowledge of State and Federal safety and environmental regulations which apply to the area of responsibility
- Understand warehouse and inventory control principles
- Understand work instructions
- Able to work in the US without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
