About The Position

This role supports on-market and new assay launches on the NACO marketing team to develop and implement strategies to strengthen Beckman Coulter’s presence in the core laboratory market and achieve annual revenue and strategic objectives. The position partners with the Sales organization to drive the execution of downstream marketing tactics, develop programs and tools in support of the strategic priorities to the North America market. The role collaborates extensively with Global Marketing, Business Units and Medical Scientific Affairs representing the Voice of Customer and Sales to provide input for consideration in product road maps and innovative marketing approaches. The Sr. Marketing Manager will be a part of the North America Marketing team and report to the Director, Product Marketing. This role offers the opportunity to develop, deploy, and sustain strategies to drive adoption for Beckman Coulter’s laboratory solutions, including launching new products in developing and established markets. It involves end-to-end management of product life cycle from pre-submission, system and commercial readiness, market development, launch, and target achievement upon product launch. The role requires monitoring target markets, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies to move customers through the buying cycle, including sales playbooks, promotions, and customer communication. The position will architect and execute menu expansion strategies for the existing install base upon new assay launches and will be responsible for achieving annual revenue targets to enable the sales organization. It also involves providing inputs for forecasts and demand planning leveraging insights into the target markets as well as customer behavior, and integrating into critical sales campaigns to drive opportunities through the funnel with strategic stakeholders. Building relationships with key thought leaders to gather VOC and market needs while staying informed on industry trends and competitive activity is also a key responsibility. The role facilitates a seamless communication channel between our business and the sales team while crafting innovative strategies and tools to drive their success.

Requirements

  • Must have ten or more years of professional experience in marketing for diagnostics, life sciences or similar industry.
  • Extensive cross functional experience leading global marketing programs, product launch, analytics and sales enablement outcomes and client services.
  • Bachelor’s degree at minimum in a scientific discipline.
  • Eight years of experience in clinical diagnostics commercial marketing, sales and ideally in chemistry, immunoassay, and automation/clinical IT markets.
  • In-depth understanding of the IVD industry, FDA, medical laboratory environment, and hospital stakeholders.
  • Commercial experience, ideally with a focus on market development, downstream marketing and/or sales.

  • MA or PhD is preferred.
