Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Marketing Journey & Audience Lead Strategist to join their Marketing Strategy Team in Newport Beach, CA. This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week in the office and offering 1 day remote. This individual contributor role is designed for someone with strong strategic thinking, technical skills, and a drive to enhance marketing campaign effectiveness. The position is responsible for developing and orchestrating marketing-led go-to-market (GTM) audience and journey strategies for Life Insurance and Annuities. This includes designing, coordinating, and optimizing multichannel engagement programs, while collaborating with individual strategists to improve campaign execution and business outcomes. The role aims to refine audience targeting and campaign journeys, ensuring consistency, enhancing audience engagement, and increasing the quality and effectiveness of generated leads. Key focuses include optimizing audience definitions and journey orchestration to produce high-quality, actionable leads and achieve more consistent results over time. This is a new role within a 22-person Marketing Strategy team in the Consumer Markets division, involving close partnerships with marketing strategists, relationship marketers, digital specialists, and data analysts across Life and Annuities. Success hinges on influencing teams to challenge the status quo and advance audience targeting, segmentation, and journey strategies. The ideal candidate possesses strong judgment, accountability, and a proactive mindset, capable of driving work forward and delivering results with minimal supervision.
