Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Marketing Journey & Audience Lead Strategist to join their Marketing Strategy Team in Newport Beach, CA. This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week in the office and offering 1 day remote. This individual contributor role is designed for someone with strong strategic thinking, technical skills, and a drive to enhance marketing campaign effectiveness. The position is responsible for developing and orchestrating marketing-led go-to-market (GTM) audience and journey strategies for Life Insurance and Annuities. This includes designing, coordinating, and optimizing multichannel engagement programs, while collaborating with other strategists to improve campaign execution and business outcomes. The role aims to establish consistency, enhance audience engagement, and increase the quality and effectiveness of leads generated by optimizing audience definitions and journey orchestration. This is a new role within a 22-person Marketing Strategy team in the Consumer Markets division, requiring close partnership with marketing strategists, relationship marketers, digital specialists, and data analysts across Life and Annuities. Success hinges on influencing teams to challenge the status quo and advance audience targeting, segmentation, and journey strategies. The ideal candidate possesses strong judgment, accountability, and a proactive mindset, capable of driving work forward with minimal direction.
