About The Position

The Brand Strategy and Merchandising Sr. Analyst will lead the transformation and ongoing management of the FedEx enterprise branded merchandise program, ensuring merchandise, store experiences, and physical brand touchpoints reflect FedEx brand standards, business priorities, and quality expectations. This role owns the enterprise company store, custom merchandise requests, vendor relationships, merchandise campaigns, high-visibility executive requests, and related governance. The Sr. Analyst will partner closely with Sourcing & Procurement, Marketing, Strategic Brand, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver merchandise that feels premium, modern, intentional, and brand-right. The ideal candidate is both operationally strong and creatively strategic: highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing vendors, contracts, budgets, approvals, and timelines, while also bringing fresh thinking to elevate FedEx merchandise beyond traditional corporate swag.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Marketing, Finance, Computer Science or related business discipline.
  • One (1) year of experience in marketing, advertising, sales administration, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of brand standards, visual identity systems, branded merchandise execution, and creative quality control.
  • Ability to balance operational discipline with strategic and creative thinking, managing details while identifying opportunities to elevate the merchandise program and brand experience.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage vendors, contracts, timelines, budgets, approvals, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience developing or improving SOPs, workflows, governance models, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to give clear vendor direction and provide concise, leadership-ready updates.
  • Ability to identify operational efficiencies, cost-savings opportunities, risks, and program improvement areas.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in brand strategy, retail marketing, ecommerce, or a related field.
  • Experience managing an enterprise merchandise program, company store, branded product catalog, or merchandise drops.
  • Strong creative instincts with the ability to bring fresh, inventive thinking to swag, product storytelling, internal engagement, and store experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the enterprise company store and custom merchandise program, including current contracts, program scope, vendor model, intake, approvals, and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide creative oversight for all FedEx-branded swag, including company store products, custom merchandise, limited-run drops, campaign merchandise, seasonal items, sponsorships, events, Peak-related needs, and executive requests.
  • Lead the ideation of new merchandise lines and drops, including internal campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and excitement around launches.
  • Take the company store to the next level by building a more curated, premium, useful, modern, and strategically branded merchandise experience.
  • Review and approve custom merchandise requests to ensure quality, usefulness, brand alignment, and business relevance.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs in partnership with Sourcing & Procurement to create clear, consistent, and scalable processes.
  • Lead vendor relationships through regular calls, creative direction, quality coaching, execution feedback, issue resolution, and performance management.
  • Partner with Sourcing & Procurement on contract renewals, requirements, vendor management, scorecards, QBRs, bi-weekly updates, escalation, and remediation plans.
  • Identify cost-savings opportunities, operational efficiencies, and process improvements while maintaining a high-quality brand experience.
  • Collaborate with Social, Marketing, and enterprise teams to activate merchandise in campaigns, experiences, and key business moments; provide leadership updates on milestones, risks, outcomes, and program value.
  • Lead or support special projects across brand marketing, including internal and external brand initiatives, competitive research, and executive-ready presentations.
  • Partner with creative, content, digital, social, communications, product marketing, sales, legal, and business teams to guide strategy through execution.
