About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Process Engineer to join its team in Pontiac, Illinois. This onsite role drives manufacturing process improvement and validation while providing daily support to quality and operations teams. The work combines office-based analysis and design with hands-on work on the shop floor and in the lab. Approximately 30% of the time is spent on office tasks, including process change notices (PCNs), test reporting, prototype design, and manufacturing process analysis; approximately 70% is spent troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
5–7 years of relevant experience.
Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
Ability to produce sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving ability.
Team-oriented approach and strong attention to detail.
Critical-thinking ability and use of innovative ideas.

Responsibilities

Drive manufacturing process improvement and validation initiatives.
Provide daily support to quality and operations teams.
Prepare process change notices (PCNs), test reports, prototype designs, and manufacturing process analyses.
Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and validate prototypes on the shop floor and in the lab.
Partner with quality and production engineering teams to validate new processes, PCNs, and related initiatives.
