Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - EPS

Terran Orbital•Irvine, CA

About The Position

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the Electrical Power Systems (EPS) component and module team. Reporting to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead – Electrical Power Systems, this role develops and implements cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods that meet product specifications and quality standards. The engineer supports manufacturing issues for existing product designs and new satellite mechanisms, provides design-for-manufacturability input early in development, supports assembly testing, and plans the transition from design and test into production. The role focuses on tailoring processes and methods to EPS components and modules to support their reliability and performance in satellite applications. It includes developing manufacturing capabilities, production layouts, process documentation, and scalable workflows; collaborating with design and development engineers, technicians, the internal machine shop, external vendors, and quality; and resolving production and test issues. The position also drives process improvements and cost reduction, supports space hardware testing, and communicates production status and issues to program teams and leadership.
