About The Position

As a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer – Injection Molding, you’ll be part of our Global Operations Transformation team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to execute detailed plans, ensuring safe and efficient cessation of production activities. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to secure equipment, materials, and tooling. You will conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent asset loss or damage. You will document procedures and lessons learned for continuous improvement. You will lead ramp up activities by establishing resource requirements and processing programs. You will monitor and troubleshoot issues during ramp up phases to minimize downtime and optimize throughput. You will verify readiness of molds, tooling, and equipment prior to production restart. You will collaborate with quality, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure smooth transition to full production. You will provide expert guidance on mold and tooling selection, maintenance, and optimization. You will advise on corrective actions for mold/tooling defects and process inefficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or other related functions.
  • 7+ years experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically injection molding
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically a month required
