About The Position

SNC is redefining the future of airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (A‑ISR) — and our Hagerstown manufacturing team plays a mission‑critical role in making that future real. As we advance programs like RAPCON‑X, our digitally born, MBSE‑engineered, modular Next‑Gen ISR platform, we rely on bold thinkers who thrive at the intersection of advanced avionics, precision manufacturing, and real‑world mission impact. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Avionics), you will be a driving force behind the production and integration of the avionics systems that power SNC’s next‑generation ISR capabilities. You’ll lead the development, optimization, and execution of manufacturing processes that enable rapid integration of sensors, mission systems, and aircraft survivability technologies — all essential elements of RAPCON‑X’s modular open‑systems architecture and reconfigurable mission payload design. In this hands‑on, high‑impact role, you’ll partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure our aircraft move efficiently from concept to capability. Your work will directly support aircraft‑level modifications, avionics harness design, integration of mission equipment, and production readiness for platforms engineered to operate in peer‑to‑peer and near‑peer threat environments — a defining hallmark of SNC’s Next‑Gen ISR strategy. You’ll also influence manufacturability, drive continuous improvement, reduce build cycle times, and resolve complex avionics production challenges. As Hagerstown continues to scale its importance within SNC’s ISR portfolio, your leadership and technical expertise will help shape a production environment capable of delivering mission‑ready aircraft worldwide.
