About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. We're looking for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with a background in design and analysis of secondary structure and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) for satellite systems. The ideal candidate has experience performing secondary structure specific design and analyses such as random vibration analysis and hand calculation sizing based on quasi-static accelerations. This is a hands-on role for a highly collaborative individual that combines technical and analytical capabilities to convert analytic trade studies to a qualified physical design, while optimizing for high volume production and meeting cross-discipline requirements. The candidate will design, analyze, and test secondary structures while ensuring all requirements are met.
